⚠️ Attention Parents: Measles Awareness ⚠️
Protect Your Child – Check Their Immunization Record Today! 🛡️👶
With the rise of measles cases, it's more important than ever to make sure your child is fully protected. The measles vaccine is safe, effective, and the best way to prevent the spread of this highly contagious disease. 💉
What You Can Do:
✅ Check your child’s immunization record to ensure they’ve received the Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) vaccine.
✅ Ensure they've received both doses of the MMR vaccine (given at age 1 and again at age 4).
✅ Contact your pediatrician if you’re unsure or need to schedule a booster shot! 📅👩⚕️
Why Is This Important?
Measles can cause serious health issues, including:
⚠️ Pneumonia
⚠️ Brain swelling
⚠️ Vision problems
⚠️ And in rare cases, death 💔
Don't wait – protect your child today! 🛑💪
Let’s work together to keep our community safe! 🤝🌍

🚨 Is Your Child Vaccinated Against Measles? 🚨
Measles can be dangerous, especially for babies and young children. Symptoms typically include:
🔥 High fever (may spike to more than 104°F)
🤧 Cough
🤧 Runny nose
😢 Red, watery eyes
🌡️ Rash breaks out 3-5 days after symptoms begin
Measles can be serious:
⚠️ 1 out of 5 people who get measles will be hospitalized
⚠️ 1 out of every 1,000 people with measles will develop brain swelling (encephalitis), which can lead to brain damage
⚠️ 1 to 3 out of 1,000 people with measles will die, even with the best care
As parents, you have the power to protect your child.
💉 Ensure your child is vaccinated with the MMR vaccine (measles-mumps-rubella) according to the CDC’s recommended schedule. Safe, long-lasting protection is available!
